At Podium Performance, our mission is to inspire excellence by providing a targeted approach for athletes striving for high performance and goal achievement. Leading the team
I’m Liné Malan, Founder, Director, and Lead Coach at Podium Performance.
Originally from South Africa, I’ve represented my country internationally in hockey and tennis and now play and captain the Perth Thundersticks. I’m a two-time back-to-back Charlesworth Medallist (Best and Fairest in the Western Australian Premier League), reflecting consistency, leadership, and performance at the highest level.
Alongside my playing career, I hold three degrees, including a Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, with a major in Psychology. This allows me to combine lived elite athlete experience with evidence based approaches to injury prevention, rehabilitation, high performance conditioning, nutrition, recovery and mindset training.
I also bring extensive coaching experience, having worked with junior athletes across club and state level programs.
I’m extremely passionate about developing driven young athletes, helping them build confidence, resilience, and the mindset required to perform when it matters most.
